 2024 Film List

DRIVING SWEEP

10 mins | United States

Few river guides ever get the chance to drive Idaho’s iconic sweep boat. Driving Sweep follows Katie Veteto as she learns how to “drive sweep” down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. She’s learned the rapids and the river. Now she learns to drive a 4,000lb sweep down steep rocky rapids

CROSS COUNTRIES
8 mins | Andorra

In his new edit, “Cross Countries”, Kilian Bron goes on another tour, this time on some of the most beautiful North American trails. From the roots of mountain biking in the USA, to the dense Canadian forests and rock slabs of British Columbia, the best spots are all on show. Behind the handlebars of his T.E.M.P.O., our brand new ultra efficient and super reactive trail bike, he just goes on and on!

Picture

SOUNDSCAPE

15 mins | United States

Soundscape features Erik Weihenmayer, a global adventure athlete and author who is fully blind, as he ascends a massive alpine rock face deep in the Sierra Nevada. Using expert camera work and emotive, novel animation to bring to life a concept by adaptive climbing pioneer Timmy O’Neill, the film is a surprising and soulful adventure.

Picture
OLD MOUNTAIN

9 mins | Canada

A 74-year-old man with his dog, Messy, enjoys their wonderful skiing life in the snow-covered mountains.

Picture

READY OR NOT

6 mins | Canada

The film Ready Or Not started as a fun and creative way to get mountain biker Steve Vanderhoek back on the horse after an injury in 2022. It quickly turned into a passion project to dive back into the roots of what initially brought husband and wife team, Steve Vanderhoek and Kelsey Toevs, together 16 years ago…having fun shooting bike movies.

Picture

AIGUILLE DU MIDID

17 mins | Bulgaria

Right next to the Aiguille du Midi peak, situated in a sea of mountains at an altitude of 3842m, stands proudly the legendary 50m high granite monolith Gendarme des Cosmiques. For the past 30 years it hosted only 2 climbing routes, Digital Crack (8a) and Arête des Cosmiques (8a), but this changed on the 10th of August, 2022!

Picture

23.4 DEGREES

12 mins | Canada

The ephemeral (fleeting) seasons that punctuate our year come courtesy of the Earth’s elliptical orbit around the sun, and the tilt of its axis—23.4 degrees. This poetically phrased short film explores the transformation of mountain landscapes and how humans are both internally and externally affected by these changes.

Picture

THE BALKANS MIRAGE

11 mins | Canada

Felix and Nicolas, armed with their cameras, will stop at nothing to immortalize every moment of their bikepacking adventure. Alongside them is Annie, a determined scientist on a quest to uncover the secrets of a most enigmatic species of bats. And then there’s Mathieu, who quite frankly, hasn’t a clue what he’s gotten himself into…

Picture

WEWINI BIMIBATOO - RUNNING GENTLY
3
 mins | Canada

When Melissa Arnott speaks in Anishinaabemowin, the whole room listens. Although we don’t understand it, there is a power in this language. Its flows and staccatos. Its unfamiliarity is striking, despite being one of the oldest languages from an area we know so well.

Picture

FUEGO

7 mins | Andorra

Kilian Bron and his team are back with a new visual spectacle! From Guatemala to Peru via Bolivia, for two months the dream team scoured the most beautiful spots to make amazing memories and bring back breathtaking images.

Picture

THE DRACONIANS
30
 mins | France

Why do we make films? Skiers, Sam Favret & Nikolaï Schirmer team up in Norway to find the best mountain lines on a ski touring trip.
