Alpine Climbing

Kananskis may not boast the tallest peaks in the area, but "size isn't everything". Within a short drive from Calgary, you can experience remote rugged and challenging routes in some of the most pristine wilderness of the world. Don't be lulled into thinking that these mountains aren't the real deal. The rock is lose and the adventure abundant. A solid Alpine climbing base, or a competent leader is essential.
