Trail Description:

This route is best done counter clockwise. From the parking lot, follow the main road to the end of the campground and past a metal gate.  Continue on this road as it snakes alongside the Little Elbow River and slowly climbs for 11.4km until reaching Romulus Campground Turnoff. The campground at Romulus marks the start of the big climb. After 10.6km of steady climbing, you reach the summit in a beautiful alpine meadow. Begin the fun descent starting with a 230m  drop in 2.5km. Near the bottom of the hill, take a left turn onto the Big Elbow trail. Continue down the Big Elbow branch as you climb and descend down some amazing trail and views for 20km back to the parking lot.
