Southern Alberta Mountain Range Riders

Hello everyone. I have started this group to bring together people who love to ride their horses in the mountains and wild places in Southern Alberta's backcountry. You don't need to be an expert, but you should have good horsemanship skills, be able to ride in rough mountain terrain, and be comfortable in the rough and beautiful wilderness of southwest Alberta's backcountry. In this group, we will participate mostly in backcountry trail riding. We do not do shows, jumping, dressage, reigning, or other equestrian events, sports, or rodeos. We are not after ribbons or medals and we don't much care about how we look. Rather, we all love horses and love the mountains.
