_Waterwerks Kayak Club encourages and facilitates the growth of canoeing and kayaking on moving water by enabling its youth and adult members to develop their paddling skills leading to a stronger paddling community.
We offer programs year-round for beginner to advanced paddlers.

Paddle Alberta is a provincial not-for-profit association with the mandate:
To promote recreational paddling
To serve the needs of recreational paddlers
To advocate the sustainability of the paddling environment, and
To promote the teaching of safe and enjoyable paddling
Paddle Alberta memberships are for paddling
instructors, paddling clubs, not-for-profit groups, commercial
organizations and interested individuals. Membership benefits include
access to subsidies and grants, networking opportunities with clubs and
organizations across the province, competitive liability insurance and
participation in environmental issues.
Purpose To act as the provincial sport governing body for the sport of whitewater canoe and kayak paddling and thereby to expand the interest and the development of the sport within the Province of Alberta.
Vision Whitewater paddling sport will be broadly represented across Alberta through a network of paddling clubs and disciplines that support recreational paddling and slalom, wildwater, freestyle and canoe polo competition.
The Bow Valley Kayak Club was formed in the fall of 2004. The objectives of the club are:
To promote the sport of kayaking and canoeing to all residents of the Bow Valley.
To encourage youth participation in the sport.
To offer training in safe and skillful paddling.
To offer high-quality paddlesport events of all types to AWA members and the general public which will introduce many new paddlers to the sport each year.
