Trail Description:
Find the trail entrance at the SW corner of the parking lot. The route can be done both ways but for the more moderate climb with a steep descent, run counter-clockwise. At the first branch turn right and start a moderate climb towards the Ridgeback/Tom Snow junction. At the junction turn left and continue the steady climb. At the peak of the climb, you'll see a trail junction on your left. Follow this for a short distance to a lookout with a bench to rest your legs for the descent. Enjoy a quick descent back down to the Elbow Valley Junction Trail followed by a flat windy trail through an open meadow and old stand forest back to the parking lot. ![]()
