Trail Description (from Allen Bill): Park on the north side of HWY 66 on Ranger Creek Road, across from Allen Bill Parking. This is the new trail head for Elbow Trail post 2013 flood. From the parking lot follow the Elbow Trail through some beautiful meadows, as it wanders next to the Elbow River. At 1.2 km you'll come to the start of Fullerton Loop. Turn left and continue through dense forest for 250m to the loop junction. The left hand loop provides excellent views over the Elbow Valley with several benches to stop and rest the legs. Walk along the edge of the embankment and through pristine forest, as you slowly gain elevation. At 3.5km you'll reach the Ranger Summit junction. A short 150m walk connects you to the rest of the West Bragg Trails. Keep right to stay on the loop. The eastern portion of the loop wanders mainly through the forest as you descend back to the valley bottom and the start of the loop. Continue back down Elbow Trail to the parking area.
